PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE: The Public Liability Insurance is arranged to cover the insured against legal liability to third parties arising from accidental death or bodily injury to any person (excluding the employees) or damage to property whilst carrying on their normal business at the Insured’s premises as a result of their negligence or that of any person for whose acts they are responsible. Public liability policies are usually arranged subject to selected or stated limit of liability which is arrived at after taking into consideration the likely magnitude of the risk-exposure.
PRODUCT LIABILITY INSURANCE: Liability may arise out of the products supplied by one party to another. This class of insurance protects the insured against any claim that may arise in respect of the use of his company’s products by any member of the public. The perils covered include death, illness and legal costs that may be incurred by the insured.
