Consequential Loss Insurance will indemnify the insured against loss arising from business interruption/disruption resulting in stoppage of production or normal operation following a material damage to properties insured. The major sub- heads usually covered will include loss of profit, Auditors’ fees, and wages for staff who will be retained during the period of indemnity.  This insurance is therefore against the loss of profit during interruption in production due to fire or any of the special perils
