Joyce Ndidiamaka Modilim (Mrs.) - Chairman
Joyce is a law Graduate of repute from Enugu State University and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. She holds a Master's degree in Law from University of Lagos.
She is a qualified Human resource Professional (CIPM), a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK and a graduate of the Institute of Chartered secretaries and Administrators of the UK (ICSA).
She worked briefly with the law firms of Afuba, Anaenugwu (SAN), Obi & Partners from 2006 to 2008, Modilim and Associates from 2008 to 2012 and later with M. J. Onigbanjo, SAN & Co as a senior Associate.
In August 2013 she left M. J Onigbanjo to set up Giant Strides Law firm where she is currently the principal counsel.
Scholastica Uche Manufor (Mrs.) - Managing Director/CEO
A seasoned Underwriter, marketer and administrator. Scholastica holds an HND in Management from Federal University of Technology, Owerri. She is also a Graduate of the prestigious West African Insurance Institute, Liberia and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
She began her working career in the then National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria (NICON) as a supervisor in 1986 and rose through the ranks to the level of an Assistant Manager.
In 2008 she joined ASV Digital services as operations Manager a position she held until 2013 when she was appointed Managing Director/ CEO of DES Insurance Brokers Limited. She joined Giant strides Insurance Brokers limited as Managing Director/CEO.
She is experienced and has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the insurance Broking business in Nigeria.
Patrick Modilim - Director
A consummate Banker of repute with over 22years Banking experience. Patrick is a 1988 Graduate of Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from same Institution.
Patrick Modilim is a product of an international firm of Chartered Accountants; Price water house now Pricewaterhousecoppers where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant before joining Zenith Bank in 1992.
He worked in various departments of the Bank including internal control & audit, Branch operations, credit and marketing, Branch management and credit risk management group which he pioneered in 2003.
He left Zenith Bank for UBA in December 2007. At UBA Plc he headed various divisions namely Corporate Lending, Divisional lending, UBA Nigeria SBG, Commercial Lending Group credit office and Divisional lending, UBA African subsidiaries. He left UBA at the end of March 2010 to pursue Vocational Training at Nigerian law School.
He joined Mainstreet Bank limited in 2011 as Group Head, Credit risk Management and later Group Head, Legal and remedial management. He left Mainstreet Bank following its acquisition by Skye Plc.
Olumide Mabawonku - Director
Olumide Mabawonku is a 1998 trained Pharmacist from Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife. He bagged an MBA degree from the Lagos Business School in 2012 and had an 8 years banking career with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.
Upon leaving the Bank, Olumide moved the family business from a single company to a chain of 9 companies with interests in real estate developments in major Nigerian cities, events management and hospitality.
The event management subsidiaries build and operate events & entertainment centers around Nigeria, and they are fast expanding, with operations now in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Abuja and a few other Nigerian cities.
His success as an entrepreneur has placed him on the Board of several companies in Nigeria. Olumide has substantial interests in marine, publishing, entertainment and oil & gas sectors of the economy.
Oluminde is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Landsmann Holdings Limited. A position he has held since 2008.
Samuel Okunsebor - Director
Samuel Okunsebor is an accomplished licensed Clearing and Shipping Agent and the Managing Director of Samcham Holdings Limited. He has 25 years' experience in the Clearing and shipping industry and has over the years diversified into haulage with a fleet of over 50 American Mack Trucks and petroleum products retail services.
He has attended several leadership and managerial training programs. He is a widely travelled businessman with great interaction within the government and business circles. He is married with Children.
Segun Omoregie - Director
Segun is an Alumnus of Lagos State University and University of London from where he bagged LLB and LLM respectively. He was called to Nigerian Bar in 1995.
His professional Law career of over 21years started with F.O.Akinrele & co as a junior counsel in May 1995 from where he joined G. Elias & co as a partner in December 1995. A position he still holds to date.
His practice covers corporate finance, petroleum, mergers and acquisitions as well as foreign investment and corporate taxation.
